Nonprofit, no overhead
A private nonprofit with faculty from Columbia, Georgetown, George Washington, and UMD. Your tuition goes to teaching, not athletics, hospitals, or research.
Lower than average, and a year shorter
Tuition and fees below the average for any type of bachelor’s college, and the degree takes 3 years, not 4. No summer semesters, no extra classes.
Aid you can see
Your need-based scholarship is set by family income, with a clear cost for tuition, fees, and books. Until NewU participates in federal aid, we match the Pell Grant you qualify for with a NewU grant. Loan-eligible? We offer a 0% interest payment plan instead.
Tuition freeze
Your posted tuition does not go up for the 3 years of your degree. The only university in the DC area to promise that.
