Up to 80 college credits before high school graduation
Dual Academy is NewU University’s affiliated high school: a Cognia-accredited private school where grades 11 and 12 are fused with the first two years of college. Every college credit is earned from NewU, an MSCHE-accredited university, and students can finish a full 120-credit bachelor’s at NewU one year after high school.

How it works
Live classes with college professors
Most classes are NewU college classes that also count for high school credit. One class, both credits.
Learning teams
Students work in teams of 4 to 5 on projects, assignments and some exams, alongside NewU college students.
Monthly coaching
One-on-one coaching with a dedicated advisor, including career coaching, plus regular parent-teacher conferences.
Three skills that matter
Soft skills, business acumen and AI proficiency, all before high school graduation.
Credits that travel
Transfer the credits to another university, or stay at NewU for the bachelor's.
