If you don’t have or can’t find your Letter of Admission, email us at [email protected] and we will re-issue it at no cost to you.
NewU has the lowest tuition of any bachelor\’s degree college in the Washington, DC area.
Scholarships here are based on need and family income. If you have not applied for one of our generous scholarships, do so asap here. Streamlined application available.
Seats and scholarship funds are limited and committed as students deposit. Your Admission and Financial Aid Letters are offers, which are only guaranteed after you make the Enrollment Intent Deposit.
Lock in your seat and scholarship before they go to another student here.
Once we receive your Enrollment Intent Deposit, we will email you a Student Contract. Review and sign it to officially become an enrolled student at NewU.
This unlocks benefits such as:

- Invitations to campus events and more prior to classes
- Support with finding and securing housing options
Checklist for transfer students
Transfer students from any college are pre-approved for admission. There is no need to apply. Email us your college transcript and we will send you a free transfer credit analysis within 7 days, with no obligation to enroll. Enrollment requires authorization to study in the U.S.; NewU does not sponsor student visas.

After you enroll
Orientation is mandatory for all first-year students and new transfer students.

Transportation and housing can be a pain, but if you plan early you’ll be better off.
We keep tuition low by focusing on the classroom and learning experience for students, so we don’t own or operate residence halls, dining, or transportation services.
There are several off-campus housing providers you can review here or choose to live with family or friends.
Classes are only Monday through Thursday, and only 10 am to 3 pm, so schedule any part-time job or other obligations accordingly.
