People with a bachelor's degree earn over $1 million more during their lifetime than high school graduates, and almost $1 million more than Associate degree holders. But first-generation and low-income students can no longer afford college. Each year in the US, over 600,000 recent high school graduate give up on their college dreams, and another 400,000 college students drop out because they cannot afford it.
